Whilst staying, take some time to explore our beautiful Capricorn Coast region. It’s an incredible destination with something for everyone.
We are just 10 km away from the renowned Koorana Crocodile Farm, which is a great outing for all members of the family.
Check out the gorgeous seaside towns of Emu Park (just 29 km to the east) and Yeppoon (37 km to the north east), with boutique and commercial shopping opportunities, recreational facilities, cultural experiences, cinemas, local and international cuisine options, numerous sporting facilities and of course, watersports options.
North of Yeppoon is Byfield – one of the largest unspoiled eco-systems on the east coast of Australia and the exclusive home of the rare Byfield Fern.
Great Keppel Island is only a 30 minute boat trip from the mainland – the ‘jewel in the crown’, of Keppel Bay and the doorway to the wonders of the Southern Great Barrier Reef.
Then there is also Rockhampton, just 30 kms to the west. “Rocky” as it’s known, is the hub for Central Queensland and the ‘Beef Capital of Australia’. The gateway between the ocean and the bush. With lots to see and do, it’s well worth the drive.
The Capricorn Coast region is an amazing holiday destination offering something for everyone.
